Nowadays there are over 40 million Mandarin learners around the world but there are not enough teachers and resources at the same time. Meanwhile, the learning behaviors of these Mandarin learners are changing but the materials and teaching methods remain the same as of almost 20 years ago. And learners do not put enough time and efforts to practice as suggested but expect good results. We used design thinking to find the problems and potential solutions. After fast prototyping and testing, we created better tools to teach and learn Mandarin.
Based on the process of design research - definition, quantitative and qualitative research, interpretation, observation, opportunity areas, and ideas - to analyze the complicated dilemmas and discover the potential areas of leather-related sustainable materials.
CUBIQLO is an idea to incorporate future retail experiences into Uniqlo’s daily shopping practice. Not only it completely utilizes Uniqlo’s iconic garment strategy: basic patterns, multiple colors, a full spectrum of sizes and function specialty in different weather condition.
In order to reduce and alter the impact that fabric and textile industries have had on the environment, we need to redefine society's relationship with materials and to seek novel and well thought-out ideas on how to engage industries, designers, product creators and the public in valuing, demanding and adopting lower impact materials.

What is the value of foresight methods and tools? How is foresight approaches different from conventional planning? What could be the capabilities, mindset, and approach required for successfully operating 10 years from now?
We Built a smart city based on foresight methods to redefine the meaning of future work for different industries. We used lego as tools to prototype this smart city and interviewed some young professionals to imagine their missions of work in this self-sustaining city in 2028.
